(...) This is a pretty cool technique! I really like the middle picture (movehead2.jpg) just as a work of art. (...) You could overcome this by subtracting out the minimum pixel change from all pixels. So if the entire picture gets brighter or (...)   Re: Build Your Own Lego Submersible

Their first book was the inspiration for the pseudo-submarine that I did for the Creative Projects book. Mine was definitely not as cool since the RCX was above water and just controlling the sub via wires. :) there is a video of it tooling around (...) (23 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics)

PCMCIA Card USB Adapter and VC not working

Anyone ever use a PCMCIA Card w/ USB to connect the Lego Cam to your computer? I recently had the cord from my IR tower impede the direction of my knee. Thusly, ripping the USB connection right out of the back of my Lap-Top. So my USB ports are (...) (23 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics.vc, lugnet.general)

Re: ROM image using USB tower

(...) Andrew, I grabbed a ROM image awhile back using a serial tower and an RCX 1.0. I haven't tried this on a 2.0 brick, but I think the ROMware is identical in all RCX versions. Although Kekoa's SEND.C uses the serial tower, it is not too hard to (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

There are 3 basic options: 1) A wireless USB adapter of some type (RF/IR) 2) Hack the cam so that data between the video chip and USB controller becomes wireless 3) Build a video driver package for various existing wireless cams to bluff the VC (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  ROM image using USB tower
