  Hex363

I pleased to announce my newest pneumatic walker, hex363. (URL) is similar in pneumatic circuit design to Quad242 ((URL) Hex363 is completely pneumatic. Hex363 is a pneumatic sequencer that can walk forward. Each leg can extend to the ground, or (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.announce.moc) !!

Re: Working motorized focus for Vision Command

(...) If you download the SDK you will also get some demo programs. They will run with VC++ and show how to get a video stream to a window and how to use the motion detection feature of the camera driver. The demos don't help much for Kylix/Linux (...)   Re: Working motorized focus for Vision Command

(...) No problem. The VC camera is a repacked Logitech. You can get a free quickcam SDK from the Logitech homepage. With that, you can program the camera under Windows. If you want to use Linux, things get a bit more complicated. You could use (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: articulation points?

(...) I was under the impression that a 6 head video recorder was a marketing concept, i.e. it has 4 video heads and 2 audio heads, so in this case (all things being equal) it would be exactly the same as the 4 head one. This is really what I've (...) (23 years ago, 21-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Let us enjoy some philosophics: Why use a numbercrunching brute force brick on a simple bot control application? As this question implies, this makes no sense. Sheer computing power is required, if you use intelligent software, than can (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I think you've hit the nail on the head here Eric. To me, the most logical way of looking at a robot arm would be from the point of view of the end effector, i.e. what it can and cannot do. The way the arm moves to get there may be of less (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic)

  vision command/macintosh question

Hi, I'm new to this list. I was just wondering if anyone out there knows if there is a mac version of the vision command image recognition software? I'm running robolab and wanted to add the camera. Or is it possible to use robolab itself with a (...) (22 years ago, 13-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)
