Re: Mindstorms Automatic Train Control Questions

(...) The Scout only has two free inputs and two free outputs, the 'third' output is wired up to a lamp and the 'third' input to a light sensor - both of which are physically fixed onto the Scout's case.   Question about RIS version differences

Hello everyone, I'm sort of new here, at least to this newsgroup. Can someone sum up the the differences between the Robotic Invention Systems versions 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0? Ignore the parts lists, I already know about those. What I want to know is the (...) (24 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  RE: Mindstorm 1.5 CD

Contact LEGO and have them send you a replacement CD. Their support numbers can be found here: (URL) what it's worth, you may want to consider purchasing the 2.0 upgrade instead.   Re: Running Vision Command on XP

I am replying to my own message here -- I followed some links on the Lego 'club' forum pages and found an excellent, step-by-step instruction set. It is fundamentally the same as Ted's, but with some changes (a bit easier). Thanks to the writer of (...) (23 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.vc)

Installing Vision Command on Windows 2000

Hello, Has anyone figured out how to force-install Vision Command on Windows 2000? I found earlier threads that suggested copying the directory from a Windows 9x machine, but that didn't work for me. Interestingly, the VC disc has camera drivers for (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)
