Hi!
Well. I think the profile is cool. TLG should stop mentioning that "age"
related fact on the RIS box. I think the RIS is no restriction for a
tinkerer at any age.
But I was also wondering if there are any women in the lugnet.!!
And here is something more I want to share.... I was in the US for last
three months and I bought RIS and the SCOUT and when I am back home in
India... my friends (almost all engineers..) have gone crazy for it.
One of them went a step ahead and took it to his office... and showed it to
his manager... and the manager (of the embedded systems simulation tools
group...) is actually buying RIS in the company so that the new recruits and
the fresh grads can be excited about microprocessors/micro-controllers...
and he is looking forward to some reverse engineering tooo...!!!!!
I think that is cool!!
What do you say ?
Regards,
Maneesh

| (...) < SNIP > One might go as far as to say that all sets are "for ages XX and up" without any ceiling on the age. The www.lego.com site allows a catalog search by age where they put an upper limit on the age. To bad... According to them I am too (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
