Is there a such thing as a Lego (Electric) clutch ?
This could reduce the number of motors required ..

| (...) Closest thing that comes to mind is the #5120 Polarity Switch - that would be a mechanical way to control electric power. LEGO had a Technic set (#8082) a couple of years ago with directions to a model that used a micro-motor to turn the (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
