Howdy all,

I've decided that I'd like to get a second brick.

For those that keep track of things like price per brick, sales, etc, my
question is this.

Would I be better off purchasing a complete RIS set (~$199) or just
another brick (~$130).

My local Zany Brainy has some 1.0 sets available.  I'd like to get a 1.0
brick for the external power adapter connector.

Jim ... I'd go for the 1.0 RIS ... then get the upgrade from S@H. Have fun, - Nick - (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I'd go with the complete RIS set - mostly because an RCX all by itself isn't very useful. If you would use the 2 motors and 3 sensors included in RIS, then its a pretty good value. Using S@H prices: RCX $129.00 2 Motors $ 35.00 2 Touch Sen. $ 22.00 (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
