To all those on the lego-robotics list:
I realize it's sort of shameful that a job this small
took so long :-( but I have a very, very preliminary
release (as promised earlier today) of the Seance API.
Seance is the low-level comm driver for what I hope
will eventually become Spectre, my proposed freeware,
open-source replacement for spirit.ocx.
The contained code is very painfully sub-alpha (not
even tested yet), but I'm putting it up to get it out
there. What this package contains is Kekoa's send.c,
split up to extract the parts that are intended to be
Seance. There is also a spec reflecting the current
state of Seance. Commentary and/or contributions are
requested, but I can't guarantee that what's in there
will even compile as is.
