I, too, subscribe to this list via e-mail, rather than going through LUGnet.
It just seems easier to me.
I much appreciate the notices of special offers (although the Shuttle/Zany
Brainy thread got a little repetitive). And I read all the posts about
sensors. And I even read some posts that are way over my head, like the ones
about AI programming.
Please keep up the sensor news, "excellent deals" news, and even the
nearly-off-topics stuff like pinball machines. (That thread was interesting.
It appears that readers of this list have a higher-than-average per capita
pinball machine ownership. [I have one too, for the record, a 1970-ish
Countdown machine.]) I think that, on the whole, this list is very well
topic-centered, and broad enough to include a wide variety of Lego robotics
(and hence Lego Technic) issues. Narrowing the topic parameters or splitting
off too many sub-groups just robs us all of a multifaceted appreciation of
and participation in this community.
