   Probably the first step would be to monitor the data sent from the mouse to the computer. I mean, if it is decoded by the driver or some other file, and it cannot be understood, then this project would instantly turn a lot harder. (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

   Through the PS/2 adapter it doesn't require any special driver. The native USB plug requires a driver in Windows 98.
