The Green Line runs real, honest-to-goodness trolleys. They are quiet and
fun. One of the sad developments of the last few years has been the disuse
of the trolleys in the favor of buses. (For that matter, I now drive a daily
20-minute commute from Brockton to Rockland that in the 1940s ran trolleys.)

My son Isaac (a devout Lego fan and budding MindStorms builder) insists on
riding _both_ the trolleys and the subway whenever possible, even if riding
the Green Line isn't in the path of our intended destination.

Are _all_ the subscribers to this list fans of trains, _Star Wars_, and Lego
(in no particular order)? Is it a membership requirement? :)

There may or may not be a free shuttle but my advice is learn the T.
Even if you're only in town for a weekend, it's a much better way to go.
Plus the trains are much tighter headings than the 1/2 hour heading a
shuttle is likely to be on.

Green line is light rail, and it's a lot different in appearance. Plus,
ride in the center if you can, so you can see the pivot in action when
they go around a corner. But watch your fingers!

Hmmm, Larry does not live in Boston, and yet he is intimately familiar
with the transit system. Coincidence, I think not.

The more likely explanation is that he is obsessed with trains, and LEGO,
and LEGO trains, and....

Seriously, thanks for the extra info....

The train stops at the train station,
The bus stops at the bus station,
So why am I sitting at a work station?
