Someone had a question about CdS light cells the other day.

The magic is that the response time at 1 foot/candle is 35ms, fall time 5ms, pretty fast where I come
from. $0.34 each for less than 100. I have requested a catalog (I still like browsing in print) and I will
be interested to see what other ranges of the spectrum they cover.....
