 | | Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone has the information I need. 1)Who makes the UCN 5804 Uni-polar stepper driver and is
it still made? 2)Where is a good place to find a wide selection of hobby size
stepper motors on a budget? 3) Are their any driver chips that will allow me
to input a digital value and get the correct corresponding Pulse Width
Modulated output to drive a hobby servo like Futaba, etc.? 4) Where can I find
gears to mount to stepper motors and matching gear sets?

Any help would really guide me in the right direction.

 Thanks in advance,
 Nayan

 | | (...) There is probably no ready-to use chip to control a servo with a digital value. But you have two solutions : 1. Try to program a pulse width modulated signal output. You need a fast "brain"... 2. With an digital to analog converter and a 555 (...) (26 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)
