Yes, I've wondered about that also. The 802.11 chip set (Harris PRISM)
might be an interesting choice, although increasing the H8 data rate
from 2400b to 1Mb could be a small problem. With the PRISM chip set, you
could get somewhere between 100 and 350-ft indoors.
