For sensors and Mindstorms-specific stuff, the Lego World Shop

is your best bet. Prices are decent and shipping time is about a week to
the UK.
The exception is if you need another motor, where your best bet is the
ZNAP Hoversub (#3552), available for around 10 UKP.
For "general" components, your best option is just to go shopping and see
what you can get on the cheap ... the bigger the set, the more likely it
is to have good components. eg. the Space Shuttle, Super Car, etc
