Hi, I'm using LegOS to build a two robots for a competition here in the
UK.
(if you're interested then check out the website for one of the other
competitors:
http://www.cyber.rdg.ac.uk/research/CIRG/lego/ )
Firstly let me say what a brilliant piece of software LegOS is, and if
you're not using it to program your RCX you're missing out.
Unfortunately I've run into some problems with IR transmition. When I
compile the demo program tm-and-ir.c using version 990330 or 0.1.7 the
rcx crashes when I hit the `View button', instead of displaying `Hello,
world.' in my terminal program.
I downloaded a precompiled version of this demo and it worked fine. I
can only assume it's a problem with my setup. I'm
using:
Redhat v6
egcs v1.1.1
binutils-2.9.1
I compiled egcs and binutils myself, rather than using the binaries.
Thanks,
Steve.
