At long last I have done it! While recovering from an illness I have
managed to get it going - thanks for your help, Kekoa.
It doesn't use spirit.ocx, so that it can be run on an 80286 DOS-only
machine under QBasic. The source code is available on the lego link at
the bottom of my home page "here.is/shirenewton".
If you don't like the advertisements there is a "Get rid of the adverts"
link you should follow first.
