| | | Dennis - How can you make use of the 3rd. motor if it needs to be available to bump the switch? Also, how would you deal with the polarity going to the 2nd set of motors? Thanks --- John. (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | | (...) Often you don't need continuous motion, eg. robot arm, and you can keep to a limit. If you use another bump switch to tell the RCX that the motor shouldn't turn any more you can stop the action before you get to the second bump switch that (...) | | | | | To get more electrical about it, how about making a voltage gate for the third output, that according to what voltage you set the third output to (between 1 to 9 volts), it switches on different sets of motors? Also, polarity changes could trigger (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics)
