This isn't really a Lego event, but all you roboticists should check it out!

Calling All Sumo Robots!

FujiSoft International, sponsor of Japan's big Robot Sumo Competition,
brings the robotic action to the San Francisco Exploratorium, Tuesday March 23,
1999.

Two robots go face-to-face in circular arena. The first to push its opponent out
or over wins!

Thousands of dollars in Cash Prizes! ($2000 for 1st) Prizes for 2nd and 3rd too.

Two categories - Radio Controlled (human operated) and Autonomous.

Plus, FujiSoft is bringing 10 of Japan's top robot competitors to test the
American Sumo metal. There are just 20 spaces open so act now!

IMPORTANT NOTE - You must register your machine >>in advance<< to compete.
Plus, you get $100 just for pre-registering and competing with an eligable
entry!
