I have been looking at the transmission for the super car kit 8880,
mostly page http://www.kl.net/scans/8000/8880/8880-011.jpg
and others.
With the four position shifter, these two special parts and other
normal gears they get four speeds? Or is it three and reverse?
Can someone offer an explanation of how this works? It looks a lot
simpler than I imagined it would be. What is the magic?
Does anyone else want to see Lego produce a specialty pack containing
just the drive train, transmission and suspension parts of the 8880
like myself?
If enough of us showed an interest, perhaps they would sell us those
very useful parts...
