Hello,
At the company I’m working (DivX, inc) we have an Annual LEGO Sumo Championship,
this is the 3rd year we are doing this, this year we decided to make it a
complete multi-event championship and to record and broadcast every events. We
had some technical issues with the first event that prevent us for publishing
the video, but the second video turn out great. For all the folks out there that
missed BattleBots, I present you with the Broadcast of the Round 2 of the 3rd
DivX LEGO Sumo Championship...
This is the best broadcast of any LEGO sport I ever seen!
The video is 15 minutes long, complete with contenders presentation, overlay,
multi-angle editing and sport commentary! The video is hosted on Stage6 in very
high quality DivX format, so if you never come to Stage6 or haven’t installed
the DivX Codec you will be required to install a very small browser plug-in or
ActiveX control depending on your platform. Believe me, it is well worth it !
I hope you enjoy this broadcast; we will keep improving on the style and
presentation to make it even better next time.
