(...) What do you consider "ludicrously huge"? Java for robots in fact does not require a virtual machine at all, it can run on a Java implementation in silicon. We've been using this for about 4 years, and so have classes at the Univ of Utah and (...) (18 years ago, 18-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)
