I2C bus expansion devices from mindsensors.com such as their motor multiplexer
(adds four independent motor output ports, can use with Lego 5225 9V gearmotor)
along with other I2C input and output devices would be good for NXT expansion if
the USB port were used with a USB to I2C bridge (Dimax U2C-12 USB-I2C/SPI/GPIO
Interface Adapter at xdimax.com). This would leave the Bluetooth link free for
remote communications. A problem with this idea might be that the NXT USB port
is a slave type. Is it possible to reconfigure the port as a master? If not, I
hope Lego will consider adding master/slave capability.
