Has anyone written or heard of a program to convert RCX Code into ROBOLAB
*.vi's? Can this even be done? I ask because the FLL team I am associated with
has ten members. Each member is writing the code for one challenge. After we
have all ten fragments, we intend to splice them together into one or two
programs, to download into the RCX. Now, the problem comes in that we have eight
people using ROBOLAB and two using RIS 2.0. But, the two fragments being written
in RCX Code are not large enough to justify melding them into a discrete
program, and the other eight would create a program too large for this team's
skills in navigation (+/- 3 cm, +/- 15 degrees!). We would like to use ROBOLAB
for our programs, because it is a more user-friendly program in the areas of
presentation, debugging, and explanation (arguable, but that is not the issue
here). If anyone has any ideas for this, I would appreciate them. We tried to
open ROBOLAB *.vi's in an NQC editor, because RCX Code converts nicely to NQC,
but they wouldn't open.
