better would be to buy an USB tower - it's more comfortable.

| I have a USB-serial adapter and it works fine (under Win XP+ Bricx). When you plug the adapter you see a new COM port. It also have linux driver but I haven't tested it yet. Mine was about 14 Euro. Bye. (...) (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.robotics)
