I'm not sure if its me or NQC, but it didn't like running in DOS even with
Win32s installed on an old 3.xx laptop. I even booted from a Win95 boot floppy
and it griped about running in DOS mode.
However, I did some digging and found a recompiled NQC v1.3 for DOS (with source
code!!) that works quite well. The site is in Japanese, but the links are pretty
clear:

Its an older version of NQC, but it has the needed nuts and bolts. Now if we
could just get the win32-specific code changed in the new versions.
