| | Dacta angle sensor
|
| I posted this in lugnet.build but this is probably better. Someone identified it as the Dacta angle sensor but has anybody tried it with an RCX? Also, another piece I got was a light sensor in a 2x3 black brick. It also has a hole through one end. (...) (26 years ago, 26-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) Yes, it works with the RCX. (...) Hrm. That one I don't know about. Your description isn't working for me exactly -- is the hole parallel to the sensor? (26 years ago, 26-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) Yes, the hole is on a parallel axis to the sensor. And it is not a 9V part because it uses the old style push-in connector pins. Matt (26 years ago, 26-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) Huh. Cool. So the sensor is on the long side of the block? (26 years ago, 26-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) Correct. It's ideal for measuring how far a wheel has turned. I think it was on an old Lego "Turtle". Matt (26 years ago, 26-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) It came with a bunch of Technic stuff I acquired, including a lot of 4.5V stuff. Came from a school in England, I got everything they had :-) Matt (26 years ago, 27-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics)
