Hi,
I am trying to communicate from my RCX to my pc using LegOS+LNP and lnpd
under linux. I am having quite some difficulty. Right now I am blocked by
a problem I hope someone can help me with. I have a simple program in the
RCX which loops round sending lnp_integrity messages of 2 bytes once every
5 seconds. I have lnpd running under linux and a client that has an
integrity handler installed. The problem is lnpd detects a frame error
every time the rcx sends a package. I have debugged the packets arriving
and what seems to be happening is that only the header (0xf0) is being
received by lnpd and then the next time it reads there is only one byte
again and it is zero. Instead of the framelength. I would also have
thought that the entire frame should arrive as one packet and be read as
such. I am running brickOS 2.6.10 and lnpd (the latest) on a dell portable
running SuSE 8.2.
Has anyone had similar problems ? Any ideas of how I can solve my problem
? I am a bit stuck !
Thanks
Andy
