You could make a half H-bridge:
--------| i-------------| i---------

/ Motor /

------------------------------------
Remember that you have to program a dead time between the switches so as
not to short the batteries.
You could also make a full H-Bridge, using each switch to drive 2 fets:
Battery Pos ---------------------------------------
| |
/ A / B
| |
------------- Motor----------------
| |
/ B / A
| |
Battery Neg ---------------------------------------
Again, you need to have dead time between the switches to prevent a short.

| I built a lego robot, I am using linux as operating system. I also have a simple circuit connected to the printer port that has 4 switches. (I can activate or deactivate 4 circuits) .
