I have completed my 6 speed+Reverse transmission, and these are the specs:
-0.54:1 ratio
-width only increases by 2 or 3 studs (not quite sure yet-probably 2)
-6th gear slot fits easily on top
So the lows are the width increses and the ratio is barely lower than 5th gear.
But it is a six speed + reverse, the width barely increases, and the supercar
should probably still move (barely) when motorized. Oh yeah it does fit in the
8448 Supercar with some modifications to the passenger side. The shift pattern
remains the same (same order). I am still working on the Ldraw because my
design has changed so much since I began this and it finally took just building
it to see what worked. Expect it up Thursday.
