    RCX Voltage Question —Joshua Entz
If you connect two motors to the same output port, will they each get 4.5 volts, or will it take current from the other outputs? (21 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: RCX Voltage Question —Robert Fay
Both motors will receive approximately 9 volts. This depends on the batteries you are using. -- Bob Fay (URL) <sailrpengn@suscom.net> wrote in message news:H81u10.AzE@lugnet.com... (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: RCX Voltage Question —Juergen Stuber
(...) Actually the motor control chips in the RCX limit the current, which will limit the maximal power that can be drawn from a port. I don't know how many motors it takes (I'd guess one) to reach the limit, but from then on extra motors will not (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)
