I recently found the following message regarding LEGO MovieMaker that was
posted on a newsgroup (sorry, I didn't keep track of which one).  I think
the MovieMaker set has the same camera (or very close to it - see
http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/1349) as VC.  If they are going to the
trouble of making a patch for this product then maybe they are planning one
for VC.  Or maybe the patch for MovieMaker will work with VC.

Laura

"#1349 LEGO and Steven Spielberg MovieMaker Set is not compatible with
Windows XP and will not run in their current format.  At this time
however, our LEGO Software designers are currently working on a patch
for this problem.  We have just learned that the projected release date
for the patch is now September 30, 2002.  The complimentary patch will
be in CD format and one can be sent to you as soon as it becomes
available.  To be placed on the mailing list to receive the Studios XP
patch, please call our Consumer Services Department at 1-800-422-5346
Mon-Fri 9am-8pm EST."

This weekend, I set up a Windows XP Professional system (clean
installation) and set up RIS 2.0 and Vision Command.

RIS 2.0 didn't give me any trouble installing.

The compatibility feature wouldn't work for Vision Command.
