the "Tuesday Morning" clearance stores have the RoboSports and Extreme
Creatures expansion sets at a clearance price of 75% off their normal $29.99
(i.e. $7.49 each!). This is a fraction of the original $50 price - worth it
for the motor alone on the sports package. they seem to have lots of stores
all over the U.S.

i've looked in 5 local stores and 4 of the 5 had at least one set. every set
i've bought has been complete (though the boxes are shelf-worn). these are
not well marked and may not appear to be on sale but they ring up at the
sale price. the merchanise display in these stores is somewhat haphazard so
look around carefully in the Toy section - i found some in the back on
shelves, hidden under other stuff, etc. they also have the Mars expansion
but those aren't on sale (still $39.99).
