I recently started looking at some of the offbeat parts (not in the Mindstorm big kits) mentioned in Dave Baum's book and the Ferrari brother's book. It seems to be the case that Lego products are aimed fair and square at kids and that what comes with "a set" should be enough "stuff" for the average target customer in 99% of cases. A few service packs and other items available from S@H service (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics)
