"If you can't do it with LEGO, try harder." The following (...) (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Mindstorms Bleak Future - Bah! Purism Shmurism! —Jeremy Ehrmann
Although I prefer lego parts, if they decide to discontinue such a great product I will not think twice in buying 3rd party mindstorms CPUs for my creations. As long as it fits what I've got.      (...) No - you said it has to work with the active sensors and the Scout only works with passive sensors.         Re: "Lego Compatible" —Bruce Boyes
(...) Right, it needs to work with standard Lego sensors (of whatever kind). So by my definition then the Scout is only partially compatible. Bruce (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics)
