We plan to release the production version of JCX (www.jcx.systronix.com) within the next 60 days. There is already IrDA light support for JStamp, and we have done demos communicating between a PalmOS device and JStamp. This would let you control a JCX-based Lego(tm) system from a Palm, using true IrDA support. At the moment the PalmOS code is written in C (all the JStamp code is in true J2ME/CLDC Java).
