System requirements a "general", at best.  Most of their requirements listed (on
both the box or in the file) were Multi Media Machine standards over 5 years ago
except the processor type/speed and newer OS's.  As long as one meets the OS and
drive space specs, it'll probably run fine on a Pentium 166MHz w/MMX equivalent
or higher machine.

"Minimum System Requirements" are reflective of the minimum configuration a
company is willing to support, not necessarily the minimum hardware required to
use the software at all.

I've only played with them at the BrickFest demo.  My favorites were 3806
Gigamesh  and 3807 Snaptrax.  The track style bots seemed easier to control.
Be sure to review your PC compatibility first. From lego.com:

"Minimum System Requirements: Windows® 95/Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, Pentium® II
233 MHz processor, 32MB RAM, 80MB available hard disc space, Windows® 98
compatible mouse, Sound Blaster 16(tm)/Windows compatible sound device, 8x
CD-ROM drive, 800 x 600 SVGA display with 1MB RAM in high color (16-bit),
one available 9-pin RS-232 Serial Port, 28.8 KBPS Modem (optional),
Netscape® Navigator or Microsoft® Internet Explorer (optional)."

Are you sure? On the text support file on the CD it says:

***************************************************************

SPYBOTICS

***************************************************************

1)  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS VERSION
==============================================

Hardware
   350 MHz or Faster Processor
   64 MB RAM
200 MB of free HD space (More space is required if
QuickTime, Flash and DirectX installation is needed)
16 bit Colour (or more) Super VGA monitor
4Mb graphics card (DirectX 8.0 compatible)
   Sound Card (DirectX 8.0 compatible)
   1 free 9 pin RS-232 Serial Port
   Optional: Modem 28.8 Kbps

Software
Windows 98, 98SE, ME or Windows XP
Optional: Netscape 4.0 or higher OR I.E. 4.0 or higher

I installed it just fine on my Win2K PIII-500 laptop, and it installed
on my Win98 PMMX-233 but it only has 1 MB of video RAM and the Quicktime
videos were pretty jerky running off the CD. A full install (600MB!) might
fix this...

The slower machine  ran the missions just fine though...

Cheers, Ralph
