System requirements a "general", at best. Most of their requirements listed (on
both the box or in the file) were Multi Media Machine standards over 5 years ago
except the processor type/speed and newer OS's. As long as one meets the OS and
drive space specs, it'll probably run fine on a Pentium 166MHz w/MMX equivalent
or higher machine.
"Minimum System Requirements" are reflective of the minimum configuration a
company is willing to support, not necessarily the minimum hardware required to
use the software at all.

Are you sure? On the text support file on the CD it says:
***************************************************************
SPYBOTICS
***************************************************************
1) SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS VERSION
==============================================
Hardware
350 MHz or Faster Processor
64 MB RAM
200 MB of free HD space (More space is required if
QuickTime, Flash and DirectX installation is needed)
16 bit Colour (or more) Super VGA monitor
4Mb graphics card (DirectX 8.0 compatible)
Sound Card (DirectX 8.0 compatible)
1 free 9 pin RS-232 Serial Port
Optional: Modem 28.8 Kbps
Software
Windows 98, 98SE, ME or Windows XP
Optional: Netscape 4.0 or higher OR I.E. 4.0 or higher
I installed it just fine on my Win2K PIII-500 laptop, and it installed
on my Win98 PMMX-233 but it only has 1 MB of video RAM and the Quicktime
videos were pretty jerky running off the CD. A full install (600MB!) might
fix this...
The slower machine ran the missions just fine though...
Cheers, Ralph
