Thanks for the alert, but the batteries don't pose a threat if used properly.
Just don't incinerate or eat them.
Maybe it was Li-ion batteries I was thinking of that lose their charge sitting
dormant...
In any event, does anyone have specific and useful information regarding
alkaline, NiCd, NiMH, Li-Ion, and rechargeable alkaline?
Weight, cell voltage, charge time (under proper charging conditions), discharge
time, effects of storage, cost, average number of full charge cycles, run-time
under load (i.e. 3 motors, 2 active sensors, one passive sensor, and IR
communication)?
