My major problem was having a light sensor on each RCX that could change at almost exactly the same time as the other. Each RCX would then send a message to the other (for different reasons)
The messages have to be sent ASAP, so one second polling is not an option.
I have moved almost all logic to one of the RCXs so the second is really only acting as a sensor multiplexor.

This is an interesting aspect of using two RCXs. My only experience is with
NQC and the single byte "Message" function, but I have succeeded in making
the communication link bi-directional and reliable.
I simply create a process in the "master RCX" which polls the "slave RCX" at
