Hi all,

I've posted a new page to our site
http:/www.convict.lu/Jeunes/RoboticsIntro.htm that turns around the theme of
programming an RCX from another RCX.

A first application is a robot called SCOUT (it is a Rover2 taken from the
Mars Exploration Set) equipped with a bumper which drives randomly around
avoiding walls. It collects the motor-efforts done through time and stores
the data in its memory. Actually the program only respects direction and
on/off state. If all the variables are set, SCOUT stores the data directly
into the memory of a second robot called FOLLOWER and starts there the
program to imitate its previous behaviour.

The program is based on firmware 2.0 and uses the opcode 0x2C
(SendUARTData). We've programmed with Robolab 2.5 which has many features
around this highly interesting subject. If anyone is interested in the
LASM-code, please let me know.
