Jerry...
Being a satellite systems engineer and a beginning Mindstorms enthusiast...I
find this design *very* cool. Well done.

Thanks

Imagine what happens when a TV truck pulls up to a crime scene and the
technician has to establish a Satellite Uplink for his live news feed.

My latest project is a LEGO Dish that is motor driven, both in azimuth and
elevation.  It scans back and forth until it catches the signal (from a
LEGO
Satellite), locks up, and there is a 'data handshake' to prove the
connection.

Go to my web site at http://www3.sympatico.ca/jdkalpin and navigate to the
link 'Sat Tracker'.  If anyone has used the REAL equipment, post a note
telling us how it *should* work!  Enjoy.

Jerry
