Have you installed the Visual Studio service packs? You stated that you had
reinstalled Visual Studio... so I am guessing that it is currently 6.0 (with
no service packs).
I can't guarentee that this will solve THIS problem, but I know from
experience that the service packs have fixed INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR(s) for
me.
It is huge, so I hope you have a fast connection... but VS sp5 is available:

| Thanks for you’re help, but downloading 129 MB whit my connection is not a good idea, so that’s now option for me. I also can’t order it on CD because this is only available for subscribers in North America. I’m not a subscriber and I don’t live in (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.robotics)
