Greetings,
I am participating in a graduate project in the Lamar University Computer
Science Department, dealing in "Topics in Robotics." We are using the LEGO
#3804 Robotics Invention System 2.0, with the Handy Board, Expansion Board,
and the Optional Sensor pack from Gleason Research. We have downloaded
InteractiveC 4.010.
We have purchased the Panasonic 6500 Ultrasonic sensor, as well as a
magnameter. We are working on the infrared remote from the LEGO #3801
Ultimate Accessories Set and Max Davies IR driver set, with mixed results.
Any help on the settings for this remote would be most welcome.
We would also like to get the LEGOCAM to work with the Handy Board. Has
anyone attempted this? Does anyone know what to do, or what not to do, in
getting the LEGOCAM to talk to the Handy Board in a similar fashion to the
way it is supposed to chat with the RCX?
Our group has wondered to IC 4's RCX communications capabilities. Is it
possible to get the RCX to work as a go-between from the LEGOCAM to the
Handy Board? Any info would be helpful.
We hope to hear from anyone on these topics, soon. Thanks.

| (...) The Vision Command camera does not talk to the RCX. It's actually a re-packaging of (IIRC) a Logitech QuickCam, with software that runs on the PC, communicating with the RCX. - Jacob (23 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.robotics)
