My replacement for spirit.ocx does not yet support sending messages to
the RCX, but it would only take
10 min to add it. (It is planned, but first I am working on cloning
spirit.ocx).
As for receiving, the IR tower shuts down to fast to reliably receive
these messages.

| hi list! i want to send a single-byte message from the serial ir-tower to the rcx, preferrably with visual basic. a program running on the host pc should send/recieve message to/from the rcx. what i found up to now is: - sending messages from the (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics)
