Just thought i would mention some software i put together for the RCX.
It uses the Spirit.OCX and a text based language(Spirit Calls) to
program the RCX.
it can be found at http://www.truzzi.com/lego/
What it has:
Encapsulates just about every function in the Spirit.ocx
Live control and sensor polling
music making tool with midi playback, notes, octives, etc.
A semi working midi import tool for pulling midi file in.
Ability to setup constants in the language
It has been tested on Win NT 4, and Win95/98 with no problems. And
requires no extra DLL's. just the Spirit.ocx and the exe.
It is free and comes with delphi 4 source. If Anyone can help finishing
the midi importing tool (Expecially the Delta-timing) i would be very
happy. I have it mostly working but can't get the timing down.

| (...) This is not completely true. It's true if you say that AFTER you have the OCX registered properly it needs no extra DLLs, but the OCX itself makes use of a few DLLs. For instants, at the launch of the original Windows 95, OCXs didn't exist and (...) (26 years ago, 20-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
