The cardboard pallet trays from the WalMart door buster buckets (see: http://news.lugnet.com/market/shopping/?n=8336) make excellent disposable
robot arenas. The are corrugated cardboard and measure 39" x 46-1/2" x 3".
You should be able to find dozens of them in perfect condition at your local
WalMart.
