Like I said, just ideas, and I haven't yet woken up. Thoughts ?
I like the pneumatic idea, but instead of using a cylinder, how about
taking a piece of Lego tubing and bending it, so that when you have pressure
in the system, the tube wants to straighten, thus activating a touch sensor.
I would think that surgical tubing would work fine for the perimeter
detection, but you need just a little bit of air pressure to create
movement. Imagine a Bourlon tube, such as thermostats and the like. It is
a coiled tube that when pressure is applied, opens up enough to show a
change. I hope that is clear enough to make it understood.
