Only two real different types.

The old ones (light grey) have one gear (I thought 24t??). There are two
versions of these old ones. From about 1993 the teeth became some longer.

The new ones (dark grey) have two gears (16t+24t)

How many differnet differential gears does Lego make?  I have been trying • to
duplicate a couple of adder/subtracter drive and the pieces never match up
like the drawings.
