(5 + 1 + 1)*4 = 28 not 24, which is moot because "messages" apparently have a prefix of hex F7 as part of the data payload, so a message is actually 9 bytes or about 36ms. | | | | | In the RCX and the tower, the IR receiver is located close to the transmitter. When the transmitter is running, the adjacent receiver's Automatic Gain Control cirucit (AGC) becomes saturated, and sets the receiver sensitivity to it's lowest possible (...)
