This is the kit that's so often recommended as a good parts kit to extend
the RIS. This kit is new, unopened, in the original box. It has something
over 1,300 parts, including two motors (one is a mini-motor), a battery box,
a turntable, a shock absorber and a fiber-optic system.
The completed Space Shuttle is a dense thing with loads of detail: the cargo
bay doors are powered open and closed, the remote manipulator arm has
azimuth and elevation control, both powered, and the deployable satellite
has powered, extendable solar arrays. The landing gear retracts and the
elevons and flaps work. The kit also has instructions for a submarine with a
remote undersea car.
I only have one for sale. I'm not a dealer, so don't bother enquiring what
else I might have for sale. Unless you want a 70 mm Tele Vue Ranger
telescope on a motorized tripod or a '95 Toyota 4-Runner, the answer is nothing.
The price is $125, firm, it's not an auction, shipping (actual cost) is
extra. You might get it for a little less on ebay or another auction site -
but then again you might not. The last one I checked on went for more.
It's for sale because my little parts bins are overflowing and I've been
spending time working on my boat.
Contact me directly at dpaule@frii.com so that we don't clutter up the server.
Thanks!
