I think you're exactly correct John. There has to be very low level control of the port. The trick, I suspect, is that the control may not lie within the Palm SDK (which I suspect fully supports only IrDA), but rather with machine coding of the (...) (24 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)
